Research:
My concentration area is Art and Cultural Informatics, exploring Human-Computer Interaction in a broad sense.
Before I started my PhD, I had been working as a graphical user interface designer and user experience researcher more than six years.
I am currently focusing on understanding dynamics of human body movement in the perspective of LMA (Laban Movement Analysis) in order to classify them into three foundational categories of LMA — Weight, Space and Time through machine learning techniques.
I hope our research will contribute to bring radical, revolutionary changes in designing natural user interfaces beyond the WIMP based interfaces.
