My research focuses on computational genomics in humans and crops.
Currently, I’m collaborating with the Mayo Clinic to optimize bioinformatics methods to process large-cohort human genome data; the goal of this research is to identify and analyze rare genetic variants associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
I’m also interested in developing bioinformatics tools for plant breeding applications.
